SAGUENAY – L’entreprise spécialisée en informatique et télécommunication, Pulsar Télécom fusionne avec la compagnie de télécommunication commerciale et résidentielle Pro Cable JMR. Les deux entreprises sont de paire depuis le 1er juin.
« Ça fait quelque année que nous travaillons conjointement, chacun de notre côté nous avions des services qui se complétaient. Donc afin d’offrir un service bien précis pour notre clientèle, c’était logique de fusionner », explique Katy Gagné, directrice générale de Pulsar télécom.
L’entreprise deviendra légalement Pulsar Télécom, mais le nom de Pro Cable JMR sera tout de même encore utilisé à l’occasion. La main-d’œuvre au sein de l’entreprise risque également de doubler dans la prochaine année. « Nous comptons ouvrir un bureau au Lac-Saint-Jean éventuellement. C’est certain que le projet est encore jeune, mais nous allons certainement avoir besoin de nouveaux employés pour venir combler les places manquantes », ajoute Mme Gagné.
L’investissement total de ce projet atteindra près d’un demi-million de dollars. « L’agrandissement des bureaux, la fusion ainsi que les nouveaux employés qui viendront s’ajouter totaliseront un investissement de près de 500 000 $ », conclut-elle.
SAGUENAY – The IT and telecommunications company Pulsar Telecom has merged with Pro Cable JMR, a commercial and residential telecommunications provider. The two companies have been operating as one since June 1st.
“It’s been a few years that we’ve been working together—each of us offering complementary services. So, in order to deliver a more specialized and streamlined experience to our clients, merging just made sense,” explains Katy Gagné, General Manager of Pulsar Telecom.
The company will now officially operate under the name Pulsar Telecom, although the Pro Cable JMR name will still be used occasionally. The company’s workforce is also expected to nearly double within the next year. “We plan to open an office in the Lac-Saint-Jean region eventually. The project is still in its early stages, but we will definitely need to bring in new employees to fill the upcoming roles,” adds Ms. Gagné.
The total investment for the project will reach close to half a million dollars. “The office expansion, the merger, and the addition of new team members will represent a total investment of approximately $500,000,” she concludes.
