IT Project Manager

Do you have a natural talent for orchestrating complex projects and rallying teams around a common goal?

Under the supervision of the Project Director, the IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and controlling the projects assigned to them. They ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards, stay within the allocated budget, and adhere to the scheduled timelines for each phase.

They also lead and motivate their team while coordinating projects with the companies or clients they work with.

  • Plan, organize, lead, and evaluate the various activities of a project

  • Develop an execution plan with a timeline for each upcoming project and assess its objectives

  • Be responsible, when applicable, for a team composed of professionals from related disciplines

  • Manage priorities, validate, and obtain approval for change requests

  • Identify project issues and critical elements, ensure they are addressed and resolved

  • Coordinate various project meetings (technical meetings, follow-up meetings with clients/sponsors, etc.)

  • Prepare, monitor, and revise project efforts and budgets as needed

  • Update project management tools and report on project progress during management meetings

  • Proficient in one or more project management methodologies such as Lean Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall

  • Skilled in using major project management tools

  • Experienced in budgeting and scheduling techniques

  • Leadership skills

  • College Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related business discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
