Database Architect / Analyst
We are looking for a Database Architect / Analyst primarily focused on Microsoft SQL Server technology.
One of the main objectives is to reduce the number of instances and databases by applying various consolidation techniques.
Knowledge of different architectures is required, ranging from physical installations in data centers to virtualized environments (VMware) and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
Evaluate the organization’s database assets to propose migration scenarios.
Support product and database development, including model development, decision trees, and standards.
Leverage Microsoft Managed Instances services and create a comprehensive service configuration to enable various use cases and scenarios.
Conduct thorough pre-assessment of databases and dependencies to fully understand application requirements for developing migration, consolidation, or decommissioning strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Other relevant training
Microsoft SQL Server from 2008 onward to the latest versions
Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure for SQL Server
Microsoft SQL Managed Instances
Microsoft SQL Server on VMware or physical servers
Ansible, Aria OPS, PowerShell, Splunk
